Oh boy, where do I start. Remember that Internet Service Provider I told you about? The one were I did my first arms in Web Development? Well, the parent company got sold so they had to do a re-brand from Infonet to a new name. The naming process was fairly simple, since the other option proposed from the Board (Infonexion) was already registered. So close the deal on Conexion and everything after that, was pretty simple. Their biggest requirement was the idea of reflecting communications, hence the satellite dish (X) and the waves coming out of the “i”.
Conexion later became an International Company, with offices in Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Peru and ultimately in the United States. That’s how ConexionGroup was founded.
I still remain very close to the company, since most of my friends from still work there. I even got the chance to develop a whole other identity and website for a sister brand of them called Netphone, a VOIP Brazilian Company.
