Tomorrow is International Internet Day. Sort of.

A bunch of people got together back in 2005 and decided that the internets needed his own dedicated day and for some reason they picked May 17th as the “D” Day (or is it “I” Day). You can read the press release here.

Internet Day is an on-line project which has emerged from society, on account of society, and for society. It is free, and open to anyone who wishes to take part. Because Internet Day is a common task.

Now, I’m bit confused on how are we supposed to celebrate this day. Shall we kiss under a Cisco Router at midnight? Light up some candles on the DSL Modem? Or just chant naked around the official site. OMG I’m so excited! Please let it be the chanting!

You can visit the oficial International Internet Day site here.

PS: Dear Internets, please try to keep your font selection on your Website Design to a maximum of 2 next year. My bleeding eyes will thank you.
