I have a brother who’s a professional bodybuilder and a personal trainer. One day he suggested me the idea of importing dietary supplements from the States and sell them in Paraguay. In case you haven’t lived in Paraguay in the last few years, it’s very hard to get that kind of products there. So I decided to invest a little money I had and created Pesoca (Pesoca = Slang for bodybuilder in spanish).
If you ever spent enough time on a Gym and/or around bodybuilders you will know this people live on a world of discipline that can only be compared to those in the army. They diet 11.5 months a year. The first part of their diet consist on gaining weight, this is usually reffer as “the loading” stage. Once they hit their plateau they start the second part of their diet which consist on losing the fat they gained on the loading stage. They do accomplish with a totally different diet and totally different dietary supplements. The second part ends the day of the competition, and after that, they start the cycle once more, year after year.
The whole concept behind the PESOCA Logo is that endless gaining and then losing process, hence the difference of weight between the characters.

Yes, that is true. NOS is the company I founded with my partner Martin Acuña. NOS is the reason I’m a partner at SUM Agency today and the reason I’m here now. What else can I say. NOS represents the first time I wake up one day and thought to myself “Hey… I can do this for a living”. The very next thing I did that morning was to call my boss at the time to let him know I was quiting. Actually, I think I got dressed and then I called my boss. Mmm… no I’m pretty sure I quited while I was still in my undies.

There was a time were Little Ponies ran free all over the world and Google didn’t actually meant anything yet (Long live HotBot.com). Back in those days of the Y2K fever and before the RIAA rule the world (and killed all the little ponies) I designed a logo (a mascot) and website for a MP3 Sharing Community. Ahhh… to be young and reckless.

A friend of mine have a Travel Agency down in Asuncion, and he asked me to design a Logo and a Website for him.

The company who owns Cines.com.py wanted a new image so I developed a new Logo and redesigned their Website based on Cines.com.py. I think it came out very good. Then again what do I know. I use to sport a mullet until I was way in my twenties. And by way in my twenties I mean last August.

A very good friend of mine had a real state property in Asuncion that wanted to sell in France, so, I did a photo shoot of the property and realized she got Palm Trees imported from Florida planted all over the place. I suggested that we could create a whole “Palm Trees House” name around the property, and so we did. Maison Des Palmiers means Palm Trees House in french or so I heard.

Man it sucks to be your own client. There, I said it. Don’t get me wrong, I loved doing the Wedding Invitation and stuff for Juanma, but I never thought it would be so hard to get a final approval, specially because Juanma can very unusual. Waaaaaaait a minute. Am I referring to myself in third person?

Horario de Oficina (for Office Hours in spanish) was (and potentially still could be… yeah right) a Social Network targeted to people working behind desks bored to death in their office hours. I wish I could say more but I signed a NDA with myself and if I say anything else I will sue my skinny… Man I always wanted to say that!
