VOX is a Cell Phone provider in Paraguay owned by a Japanese Corporation called Toyotoshi. They felt their old website didn’t reflect their heritage properly so the client requested two main things: a) A Flash Website and b) Greater use of the brand colors.

United Way Central New Mexico asked SUM Agency to develop the 2007 campaign. The creative team came up with the concept of GIVING as an actual product. The packaging itself was carefully design and would become the center of the campaign. We even did some TV Spots as well (you can find those on the trygiving.com website).
When the time came, I designed the concept using elements from the campaign and the box itself, which later turned into a resolution independent flash website. It was pretty fun project and I was very honored to be a part of it.

This time I had to develop a Flash Multimedia Presentation, pretty much like the one I did for ABC, with voice over and lots and lots of info. The idea was to launch the new GSM product line.

This is actually very rare. In all this years I’ve done very few flash games, but this one is my favorite by far. Telecel a cell phone company wanted a Flash Game that allowed their customers to participate by sending SMS Text Messages onto a big screen. We came up with the idea of a penalty shot with 9 coordinates.

Every now and then you get to work on project for a huge important company, with huge budget, great assets and total creative freedom. This is one of those projects. Ricky Sarkany (the equivalent to a Cavalli in South America) opened their first store in Asuncion and I got to design the mini website for it.

There’s only one thing more important than soccer in Paraguay, and that’s terere, but when you’re thirsty and you already had your daily fix of terere, you would probably ask for a Pulp. Pulp is a very traditional Paraguayan soda. The idea of this mini site was to communicate that Pulp got just turned into the Official Sponsor of the Paraguayan National Soccer Team.

Yet another Night Club in Asuncion. You might think I get paid in booze and VIP bracelets, but I swear that’s not the case. Anyway, this is Pirata Bar, a night club with the atmosphere of 300 Spring Breaks all together in one place (for what I’ve heard anyway).

Palermo is a regional cigarettes brand and they requested me to develop a Website with info about the brand, the musical events they sponsored and the Toyota Rally Team they owned that season. This project was very difficult for me since a) I’m not a smoker so I didn’t knew their product line, thus I had no idea how to sell their product and b) I had a hard time trying to figure out how to combine cigarettes, music and a race car all in one website. Yes, that is true. NOS is the company I founded with my partner Martin Acuña. NOS is the reason I’m a partner at SUM Agency today and the reason I’m here now. What else can I say. NOS represents the first time I wake up one day and thought to myself “Hey… I can do this for a living”. The very next thing I did that morning was to call my boss at the time to let him know I was quiting. Actually, I think I got dressed and then I called my boss. Mmm… no I’m pretty sure I quited while I was still in my undies.

A Multimedia CD-ROM for Paraguayan Newspaper ABC Color. It featured a 5 minute long animation with voice over and it was presented to the Top 300 Newspaper Advertisers on a private party held exclusively for the launch of the New Website Design.
